I am a control freak,between tying flies and catching fish on them I feel I am in control from beginning to end. I am away from the city or (the real world as non fishermen call it) I call it the get nowhere rat race.I match my whits against a fish on it's own home field (it's never my mine) I battle the elements. I use the skills I spent so much time studying as a kid. I match the hatch. 70% of the time I'm aggravated. 30%of the time I'm rewarded more than I can express. I go work at job that mentally exhausts me for five days so I can get more fishing money and I start all over again. ART. SCIENCE. PASSION. And a small slice of the pie graph I can't explain
